This New collection is inspired by an iconic movie and an inspirational historic figure:
- The movie Casablanca (1947), its trench coats, its dangers and its spies
- The Berber Queen, the Kahina, highly recognised military and political leader in the year 700, and empowering figure for the women in the modern Maghreb.
This collection is also the occasion for a fantastic collaboration with the amazing French lace waver Sophie Hallette. We created together 2 pieces, nowadays exposed in the cite de la mode et de la Dentelle, in Calais : a grand coat in bleu tartan tulle and a very graphic short dress in navy geometrical cotton lace.
